Discover Agiofarago Gorge & Beach
Experience one of southern Crete’s most impressive natural landscapes on a full-day excursion from Chania to Agiofarago. Hidden between dramatic rocky cliffs, Agiofarago combines a scenic gorge hike with the reward of a beautiful secluded beach overlooking the Libyan Sea.
After arriving at the entrance of Agiofarago, you will begin a relaxed hike through the gorge towards the beach. The walk takes approximately 45 minutes and offers the opportunity to experience the rugged landscape and natural beauty of this unique part of Crete.
Once you reach Agiofarago Beach, you will have plenty of free time to swim in the clear waters, relax by the sea, explore the surroundings and take photographs before beginning the return hike.
Excursion Itinerary
Departure from Chania
Meet your driver at the designated meeting point and begin your journey from Chania towards Agiofarago in southern Crete.

Take a short 20 to 30-minute break along the route for coffee, refreshments and relaxation before continuing the journey.

Arrival at Agiofarago
Arrive at the entrance of Agiofarago Gorge and prepare for the walk towards the beach.

Hike Through Agiofarago Gorge
Begin a relaxed hike through the impressive natural landscape of Agiofarago Gorge. The walk to the beach takes approximately 45 minutes.

Free Time at Agiofarago Beach
Enjoy free time at the secluded beach for swimming, relaxation and photographs. Take in the dramatic cliffs and crystal-clear waters at your own pace.

Return Hike
Leave the beach and begin the return hike through Agiofarago Gorge towards the meeting point with your driver.

Departure for Chania
Meet your driver and begin the comfortable return journey towards Chania.

Afternoon Stop
Stop at a selected location along the route for coffee, food or a relaxing break before continuing towards Chania.

Arrival in Chania
Arrive back in Chania and complete your full-day Agiofarago excursion.

Pickup is arranged from the designated meeting point in Chania.
